Tree work in North East
The borough has a lot of older homes with large maples and oaks along the street and in the yards. Many of those trees have been there for generations, and their size means removals usually have to be climbed and rigged.
Out in the township, trees along vineyard rows and farm lanes can shade the vines or drop limbs on trellises. Clearing and trimming around the edges of the fields is a big part of the work.

Why North East calls us
North East is a straight shot east on I-90 or Route 20. We handle everything from a single street tree in the borough to clearing work around a vineyard.
How a job runs
Tell us the town, roughly how tall the tree is and what sits underneath it: house, garage, wires, fence. A couple of photos let us plan before anyone drives out.
Someone walks the site, checks the lean, the trunk and the drop zone, and explains how the tree would come down. You get a price before a saw starts.
The crew climbs or sets rigging, brings the wood down in controlled pieces, then rakes and blows the area. Wood and brush handling is agreed up front.
North East trees
A lot of trees people want gone can stay. Thinning the crown lets wind pass through, cutting back the limbs over the roof removes the risk, and a cable can support a weak fork. If the tree is healthy and well placed, pruning is usually the cheaper answer.
Removal makes sense when the trunk is hollow or cracked, the roots have lifted, more than half the crown is dead, or the tree is an ash in decline. We'll tell you which side of that line your tree is on and why.

Pruning · deadwood · clearance
Ice storms in grape country coat every branch, and the extra weight splits weak forks on older maples. Thinning the crown and cabling a weak union can carry a valued tree through the winter.

Signs a tree needs attention
FAQs
Not sure what the tree needs? Call and describe it. That's usually enough to know the next step.
Yes. Branches over the rows can be cut back, and trees along field edges can be thinned or removed so the vines get the light they need.
Yes. Street trees in the borough are typically climbed and lowered in sections so nothing hits the house, the sidewalk or parked cars. Ask the borough first if the tree is in the public right-of-way.
Yes. Lakefront properties often have tight access and wind-damaged trees. We plan around both.
