What we do
Corry's older neighborhoods have big trees on small lots, while the surrounding townships are mostly woods and farmland. Removals, trimming and storm cleanup are the most common work.
Most requested Whole trees taken down in sections when space is tight, or felled in one piece when the yard allows it.

Tree work in Corry
Corry grew up as a railroad and manufacturing town, and many homes date from that era along with the big trees around them. Mature maples and oaks on narrow lots usually call for a climber and ropes.
Outside the city in Wayne and Concord townships, properties are larger and more wooded. Dead ash, overgrown fence lines and trees along long driveways are typical.

Why Corry calls us
Corry is one of the longer drives in the county, so we plan visits efficiently and can often combine estimate and work days. Storm calls still go through the same 24/7 line.
How a job runs
Tell us the town, roughly how tall the tree is and what sits underneath it: house, garage, wires, fence. A couple of photos let us plan before anyone drives out.
Someone walks the site, checks the lean, the trunk and the drop zone, and explains how the tree would come down. You get a price before a saw starts.
The crew climbs or sets rigging, brings the wood down in controlled pieces, then rakes and blows the area. Wood and brush handling is agreed up front.
Corry trees
A lot of trees people want gone can stay. Thinning the crown lets wind pass through, cutting back the limbs over the roof removes the risk, and a cable can support a weak fork. If the tree is healthy and well placed, pruning is usually the cheaper answer.
Removal makes sense when the trunk is hollow or cracked, the roots have lifted, more than half the crown is dead, or the tree is an ash in decline. We'll tell you which side of that line your tree is on and why.

The southeast county is snowbelt country, and heavy snow sits on branches for long stretches. Lightening heavy limbs over the roof and clearing deadwood before winter helps prevent breakage.

Signs a tree needs attention
FAQs
Not sure what the tree needs? Call and describe it. That's usually enough to know the next step.
Yes. Corry is part of Erie County and inside our service area. Call with the address and we'll schedule a time.
Yes. Tight lots are common in Corry. The tree is climbed and each piece is lowered on a rope so it lands where we want it.
Prioritize the ones that could hit something: the house, outbuildings, driveway or power lines. Those should come down first; ones deep in the woods can wait.
