What we do
Harborcreek mixes suburban streets, lakefront lots and open farmland. That means everything from a single maple over a house to clearing a fence line along an orchard.
Most requested Whole trees taken down in sections when space is tight, or felled in one piece when the yard allows it.

Tree work in Harborcreek
Six Mile Creek and Four Mile Creek cut deep, wooded gorges through Harborcreek on their way to the lake. Homes along those edges often have tall trees on steep ground, and the only safe way to take one down is usually climbing and rigging.
Farther east, the township opens up into orchards and vineyards with windbreaks and hedgerows. Those jobs are more about clearing and thinning than working around a house.

Why Harborcreek calls us
We get to Harborcreek quickly by way of I-90 or Buffalo Road. Lakefront calls after a north wind are some of the most common we get in the township.
How a job runs
Tell us the town, roughly how tall the tree is and what sits underneath it: house, garage, wires, fence. A couple of photos let us plan before anyone drives out.
Someone walks the site, checks the lean, the trunk and the drop zone, and explains how the tree would come down. You get a price before a saw starts.
The crew climbs or sets rigging, brings the wood down in controlled pieces, then rakes and blows the area. Wood and brush handling is agreed up front.
Harborcreek trees
A lot of trees people want gone can stay. Thinning the crown lets wind pass through, cutting back the limbs over the roof removes the risk, and a cable can support a weak fork. If the tree is healthy and well placed, pruning is usually the cheaper answer.
Removal makes sense when the trunk is hollow or cracked, the roots have lifted, more than half the crown is dead, or the tree is an ash in decline. We'll tell you which side of that line your tree is on and why.

Pruning · deadwood · clearance
Trees between East Lake Road and the water get hit first when wind comes across the lake. Older willows, cottonwoods and silver maples in that strip are prone to losing big limbs, so regular deadwood removal pays off.

Signs a tree needs attention
FAQs
Not sure what the tree needs? Call and describe it. That's usually enough to know the next step.
Yes. Gorge and ravine trees usually can't be felled, so a climber takes them down in sections and the wood is lowered or winched up to level ground.
Yes. Overgrown windbreaks can be thinned, dead trees taken out, and brush chipped so the row does its job without shading the crops.
Look for broken branches hanging in the canopy after a north wind, cracks at the forks of big willows or maples, and any tree starting to lean toward the house.
